Propane and Liquid Fuel Oil

UGI Energy Services, LLC (UGIES) owns and operates six strategically-located liquid propane gas (LPG) Air Plants. UGIES engages in the transportation, storage, terminalling, and marketing of LPG, including throughput storage solutions and peaking services.

Our Propane supply is used to serve our wholesale propane customers and to provide peaking services through the production of propane air. UGIES strategically purchases LPG to be able to offer competitive pricing for summer and winter propane supply to wholesale customers. UGIES also provides full service logistical support and transportation including two fully-supported rail terminals.

In addition to rolling storage, UGIES offers traditional tank storage capacity for through-putting at our rail terminal facilities and trucking-only facilities. This provides a viable alternative to wholesale propane customers who have limited storage. Our dedicated Liquid Fuels team offers superior sales and service with special attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Please see below for more details about each of our Propane Air Plants.

Fuel Oil Supply & Delivery

Another service offered by UGIES is supply and delivery of a variety of fuel oil products—ranging from Off Road Diesel to Ultra Low Sulphur Heating Oil. This service is available to existing and potential customers requiring fuel oil products, but is also a service we can offer to our interruptible natural gas customers who find themselves without gas on some of the coldest days of the year.
