James’ career in the energy industry began in 1987 at Pennsylvania Gas and Water Company, which grew, divested, and was later sold to UGI Corporation. Since 2001, he has served as regional director for UGI’s Wilkes Barre Sales and Operations division. He has an electrical engineering degree from Penn State University. He’s received many rewards and recognitions, including Who’s Who in U.S. Business, the United Way Leadership Award, the U.S. Marine Corps Service and Appreciation Award, and the Penn State University Hayfield Award for Excellence in Service to Campus/Community.
